NBSC’S VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS LEADS OBE TRAINING AT ADZU FORTE 2026
The Vice President for Academic Affairs of Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, served as the resource speaker and facilitator during the annual faculty in-service training of the Higher Education Unit at Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) on July 2, 2026. This training, known as AdZU ForTe 2026 (ForTe for Formation and Teaching through Technology), took place at their main campus in Zamboanga City and brought together faculty members to strengthen their academic programs. The sessions focused on improving classroom instruction through outcomes-based teaching and learning.
During the training, Dr. Delosa guided the participants in articulating the specific course learning outcomes within their syllabi. This collaborative learning environment allowed the instructors to focus directly on their curriculum design, ensuring day-to-day teaching methods clearly match what students are expected to achieve.
Supported by the administration under College President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, this strategic collaboration highlights NBSC’s growing connection to wider educational networks. Partnering with peer institutions allows NBSC to share insights on modern teaching methodologies, which helps keep its own academic practices sharp and relevant.
